Wholesale / Custom Inquiries

We often get asked if we do custom orders for groups or small businesses and we do!

Guidelines

All orders for the winter holidays need to be placed BEFORE October 16th! (This is typically our busiest time of the year).

Order Minimum: All wholesale orders have a required minimum of 20 with the exception of our larger items (Large planters, platters, vases, etc). Please contact us directly about wholesale orders of large ceramics.

Payments: For all orders, our policy is half of the cost whenever we begin working on your order and the cost of any required decals or stamps. The second half will be invoiced to you upon completion of your order.

Pricing: Pricing discounts for wholesale items are based on the quantity ordered. (Discount from what we retail ours for)

Ordering 20 to 40 items there will be a 20% discount.
Ordering 41 to 100 items there will be a 25% discount.
Ordering more than 100 items there will be a 40% discount.

Time Frame: Typically after an order is placed and begun it can take us 3-6 weeks to deliver or ship the order to you. Sometimes we can have a quicker turnaround and sometimes we may need longer. A more accurate time estimate can be given when placing your order.

Color Options: We have a library of glazes and glaze combinations available to us. Please see our glaze gallery to see examples of glazes we utilize. We use this gallery as a reference for color options for orders. We occasionally add colors to our gallery but we only take orders with colors in our gallery. We do not currently have the ability to do custom glaze testing.

Logos/Custom Designs: Please see the information below on the different methods we offer on how to get your custom logo or design on a piece.

Custom Singles: Occasionally we will accept requests for custom orders of individual items on an independent basis. Please reach out to us directly about single custom items.

Decals:

The best option for multi-colored designs, or if you have multiple designs you want on a ware.
Semi-opaque so they have the best results when fired on a white glazed surface.
Decals are ordered from a third party and usually take 1 -2 weeks to arrive once they have been ordered.
We will ask for a pdf of the designs you want to be printed if you choose this option. The printable area of one sheet of decals is 10.25"x15.75".

Stamps:

Good for single-color designs.
Stamps can add 3D texture to a pot. (Design can be stamped into the clay in different ways making the design or text pressed out, or pressed into the clay).
Can stamp a design on the bottoms of pots using a type of glaze that will not stick to the kiln shelf.
The cost of custom stamps is usually cheaper than the cost of custom decals.
Glaze color options are not as limited as decals.

Custom decal mugs we did for Made in Corpus Christi. We were able to fit 23 designs on one sheet of decals. The mugs had a white outside but a multi-colored inside.

Stamped mugs we did for TAMU-CC Alumni Association. The stamps were pressed into a separate piece of clay and then attached to the mugs to give the design a raised effect. Reach out to us about other stamp techniques.
